To catalyse the discovery and development of novel, genome-informed therapeutics by integrating medicinal chemistry, molecular epidemiology, and mechanistic drug research, ultimately bridging the gap between academic insight and pharmaceutical innovation in Bangladesh.

- To develop novel drug candidates by supporting medicinal chemistry with in-depth mechanistic studies, including antimicrobial activity (e.g., MIC) and genotype-driven drug responses.
- To identify new genomic and genetic targets related to prevalent diseases such as obesity, diabetes, and infectious diseases through molecular epidemiology and population-based research.
- To serve as a foundational resource hub for under-resourced yet talented students, equipping them with skills, technologies, and mentorship rooted in international research excellence.
- To inspire a new generation of scientists from Bangladeshâs public universities to contribute meaningfully to global health by overcoming systemic and socioeconomic barriers.
